Andrew E. Sill MAI

The owner of Sill Appraisal Group, Andrew E. Sill, holds an MAI designation, this is the most prestigious accomplishment an appraiser can achieve. By hiring a member of The Appraisal Institute with an MAI designation, a client will know that their appraiser has achieved the highest professional level of education and training available to commercial appraisers.

To become a designated MAI, the appraiser must meet extensive requirements, including the completion of a demanding educational process as well as, a comprehensive exam. All MAI designated appraisers must have a 4-year college degree before they can begin the rigorous educational and testing requirements. The appraiser must also demonstrate a high level of specialized knowledge required to perform a wide variety of property types and have a minimum of 4,500 hours of applied work experience.

MAI designated appraiser must also show that they have good moral character and meet the Appraisal Institute’s ethics and standards requirements.  Furthermore, Andy has served as a member of the Great Lakes Chapter of The Appraisal Institute.
